Pet Training

We’ll help match Your Dog with the Right Training program

Choose from a range of specialized dog training programs designed to suit your pet's needs, your schedule, and your budget. Let us assist you in discovering the perfect training solution for your canine companion!

Available Training Options

  • Board and Train

Whether you want your dog to learn new skills or undergo some behavior modification, we will individually assess your dog’s challenges and find solutions. Allow your dog to board and train with us for 14 days, which includes 8-10 training and exercise sessions daily. When it’s time for your dog to transition home, we make sure the lessons learned with us stick! We include one take up session and two follow-up sessions, so you know how to continue the success we’ve achieved.

  • Puppy Pre-School

Start your dog’s future off on the right paw! Precision Canine follows the American Kennel Club STAR Puppy program for dogs up to 1 year old in our Puppy Preschool. S.T.A.R., which stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility, is designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a great start. Puppy Preschool includes the owner and takes place during one-hour sessions. We know little pups are usually only attentive for these shorter sessions.

  • Doggie Day School

Doggie Day School includes many of the same elements as our Board and Train program, but your pup goes home each night. The length of time will be customized to your dog’s individual challenges and strengths, but on average is around six weeks. We guarantee your dog will come home doggone tired after his training and exercise sessions throughout the day.

  • Group Learning

Group learning is a great way for your dog to learn basic obedience while also learning to ignore the distractions of the outside world. These sessions are designed to be in a social setting and prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing. Come and meet other dog loving families and form furever friendships.

  • Private Learning

Let us come to you! Some dogs learn better in a one-on-one setting. These sessions are by request only and are usually located at the owner’s residence.

  • Behavior Modification

Some unwanted behaviors require specialized attention. Some examples include aggression and resource guarding. The techniques used most to modify dog behavior include habituation, extinction, desensitization, counterconditioning, response substitution, and behavior shaping.

Your dog’s best behavior is waiting to be unleashed.

Let us help you regain order for your beloved pet and your life.
